Effective from 29 Oct 2026
SUISO is a tank journal for aquascapers. These terms say what we expect from each other – briefly and without tricks.
SUISO (the app at suiso.app and the SUISO iOS app from the App Store) is operated by budevolno.cz s.r.o., company ID 29810701, VAT ID CZ29810701, registered office Bílov 159, 743 01 Bílov, file C 104704 kept by the Regional Court in Ostrava (the “operator”). Contact: hello@suiso.app.
By using SUISO you agree to these terms. When creating an account you confirm this explicitly.
You create an account with an email and password or with a Google or Apple account. You need it to write in the journal; a tank’s public page is read-only without an account.
The account is personal. You are responsible for what happens under it – do not share your password, and tell us if something happens without your knowledge.
You may use the service if you are at least 15 years old. Younger users need a parent’s consent.
You can delete your account at any time in Profile. All tanks, journal entries, photos and Advisor threads are deleted – this cannot be undone. You can download your data first (CSV and a photo ZIP).
Deleting the account also ends a paid subscription bought on the web immediately. The rest of the paid period and unused credits are then not refunded; the right to withdraw within 14 days under section 5 is not affected.
Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription bought in the iOS app through the App Store – cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, otherwise Apple keeps charging for it.
Tank journal: water changes, fertilizer doses, water tests, trimming and notes, photos with history, tasks and routines with reminders, an equipment inventory.
Public tank page: you turn it on yourself in Parameters. While it is off, only you see your data.
Sharing to social networks: only on your instruction; the Instagram and YouTube connections can be removed in Profile at any time.
Uploading videos to YouTube uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel and uploading through SUISO you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (youtube.com/t/terms). You are responsible for the videos you upload and for publishing them; how SUISO handles your channel data is described in the privacy policy.
Sharing a tank: you can share a tank with another SUISO user by their email. They then see the tank journal read-only; you can remove the share at any time in the access settings.
Advisor: an AI assistant answering with your tank’s data. On the Free plan you get monthly credits for questions once you create your first tank; the Plus and Pro plans have more credits, photo advice, the daily insight and the weekly summary, and Pro also a choice of model. Answers are generated by artificial intelligence (a language model by Anthropic) and are labelled as such in the app. The Advisor is not an expert or a veterinarian: its output is guidance, and decisions about your tank and its inhabitants are always yours.
Everything you write or upload stays yours. You only grant the operator the right to store it, show it to you and – if you turn it on – on the public page or in a shared post, and to process it with the Advisor.
Upload only content you have the rights to and nothing that breaks the law or the rights of others. We may remove such content and close the account.
You are responsible for what you publish on the public page. Water tests with notes, tasks and the Advisor never go to the public page.
To report content you consider illegal, use the “Report content” link on the public page or email hello@suiso.app – this is also our point of contact under the Digital Services Act (DSA), in Czech or English. We assess reports without undue delay and let you know the outcome.
The tank journal is free, and the Free plan also includes limited monthly Advisor credits. The Plus and Pro plans are monthly subscriptions; the Pro plan can buy additional Advisor credits as one-off purchases. Current prices and plan contents are in the app under Plan – on the web in CZK, EUR, USD or GBP depending on your country (elsewhere the checkout converts the price into your local currency), in the iOS app as set by the App Store; always including VAT or a similar tax of the country you are in.
On the web, the seller of paid plans and credits is Sold through Link, LLC (Link by Stripe; merchant of record – your receipt and card statement show “Link” / “LINK.COM*”): it takes the payment, issues the receipt, remits the tax and handles payment disputes. The service itself is provided by the operator. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or local payment methods. Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel – you can cancel at any time in subscription management, and the plan then runs until the end of the paid period. Purchased credits never expire.
As a consumer you may withdraw from a subscription bought on the web (within 14 days of its first payment) or from a credit purchase (within 14 days of the purchase) without giving a reason – just write to the contact below or to Link support. You get the full price back, even if you have used the Advisor in the meantime; the paid plan or the purchased credits then end. The seller refunds the money to the same payment method within 14 days of the withdrawal. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance; you keep the old price until the end of the period, then the new one applies or you cancel.
In the iOS app, paid plans and credits are sold by Apple (App Store) and paid with your Apple Account. Apple takes the payment, issues the receipt and handles refunds – request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com under Apple’s rules. Subscriptions renew automatically every month until you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period in Settings › your name › Subscriptions; the plan then runs until the end of the paid period. Credits bought through Apple never expire and are used the same way as credits bought on the web. Purchases through the App Store are also governed by Apple’s terms.
An account has at most one subscription: while a subscription from the web is running, the app does not offer another one, and while a subscription through Apple is running, the web does not offer checkout. You manage a subscription where it was bought.
SUISO is in beta. Features may change, appear or disappear, and the service may be briefly unavailable (maintenance, provider outages). We aim for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We recommend downloading important entries and photos from time to time using the export in Profile.
We may discontinue the service; in that case we will give at least 30 days’ notice and time to export your data.
A tank and its inhabitants are a living system – SUISO is a helper, not a guarantee. The operator is not liable for damage to the tank, plants or animals resulting from following data or Advisor output in the app.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Consumer rights under Czech law are not affected.
You: by deleting the account in Profile, at any time.
Us: on breach of these terms, misuse of the service or where required by law. Where possible we will notify you in advance and leave time to export.
We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. We will publish the new wording on this page together with the date it takes effect. If you do not agree with the new wording you may close your account at any time; continued use after the effective date means you accept it.
The relationship is governed by Czech law; this does not deprive consumers of the protection given by the mandatory rules of the country where they live. Consumers may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz) for out-of-court dispute resolution. But write to us first – most things we sort out directly.
